Well, I suppose everyone is gonna create an appstore now. It will be interesting to see if it is as successful as apple’s or if it is like the myriad of other app stores that existed on cell phones before apple’s. You have to wonder if apple’s success is directly tied to the tight control of the platform. I suppose, though, that when you are looking at billions, just getting a small percentage is worth the effort.
