Poll Polution
Sotomayor’s confirmation backed by majority of Americans, poll says – Los Angeles Times
Somehow, I think that polls of this nature should rule out anyone that don’t know how many Supreme Court justices there are, can’t name the current justices, and cannot answer some simple true false questions about the candidates positions. In this case, I don’t know all of the justices off the top of my head. So, I have no idea how I would be able to render a reasonable judgement that is anything other that media regurgitation. It sickens me that people make such rash statements based on gossip, rumor, and exposure. Frankly, the percentage of “no opinion” should be closer to 60-70% for a poll of this nature to have any credibility.
